About us
In 1981 Eduard A.E. van Dishoeck started an Antiquarian old book, print and map shop in the center of Amsterdam in the Raamsteeg. But as of August 2020, he works by appointment and visits his clients on location, at the office or at home, and also sells his books and prints through his website; “The Online Gallery”.

Quality and authenticity
The quality and authenticity of the books, prints and maps we supply are our priority. For this reason our antiquarian shop has access to an extensive library of reference works in which we can verify the origin of our prints, maps and books.
Upon request of the client we supply a signed certificate of authenticity for all our books, prints and maps. We also have access to a broad network of professionals with varying specializations, such as the City Archives and the Amsterdam Museum.

Payment details
All books, prints and maps are priced and sold according to the Margeregeling (amount is incl. VAT).
For purchases via the website you can only pay after you have received confirmation from us that we have searched for the print or book. You can then make the payment via a bank transfer. However, we also have an ATM for debit cards and credit cards if you want to pay on collection. However, cash payments are also possible.
For business customers we can deliver the print and send the invoice to the office address.
